What an utterly charming man ... and he told me he will be reading our book tonight!I told him that three BC authors (including me) contributed stories and that the book's debut launch was in Vancouver. He seemed pleased at BC's representation. There was so much more I wanted to say to him but a whack of people were (understandably) waiting for a photo-op.
For mine, he had me "snuggle in" (ooh my... be still my heart, he is *very* fit!) ... As with the previous time I'd met Premier Campbell, I was completely charmed and overwhelmed by his warmth and sincerity. What an exciting experience, and what a point of pride to present this book to the Premier of my province!
